Regional Express has announced that it will implement a more business friendly schedule on the Griffith-Melbourne route from July 19.

The new schedule sees the departure from Melbourne moved up from 10:30am to 5:00pm with the return flight from Griffith now departing at 6:30pm. The services will continue to operate every day except Saturday.

“Rex has been receiving feedback from the local community and the Council for a better schedule that allows business travellers to spend a full day in either Melbourne or Griffith while keeping accommodation requirements to a single night,” said the airline’s GM network strategy and sales Warrick Lodge. “We have responded at the first opportunity to achieve this objective.”
