Queensland Airports Limited (QAL) has reported record passenger movements for 2010, after seeing over 7.3 million people pass through the Gold Coast, Townsville and Mount Isa airports last year.

The three QAL owned airports recorded an aggregate passenger growth of more than 10 per cent over 2009, with the Gold Coast exceeding five million passengers passing through its terminal for the first time in a calendar year. Townsville and Mount Isa also achieved record results, after tracking over 1.6 million and 200,000 passengers through their airports, respectively.
